Hello, I have a question regarding HW #7: For part b of question 1, which equation do you use for finding the angle of rotation for the figure? I can do it with the square shaped parts, however, I'm having trouble with solving for the circular component. Any help would be great. thanks

Also, should the formula for ANGLE OF ROTATION be the same as T/4Abar^2*G? This is the formula for the square shaped material.
I'm not sure if it's too late, but my best advice would be to look at EX2 from the email at line (2). That theta is the one for the circular part and should be pretty similar to the one in the homework. If you're still up, ill refresh this in a few minutes.
I was looking over the formula sheet we're gonna use on the exam - mainly looking for stuff left out. Can anyone think of any formulas that we need to know that definitely arent there?
So far, I see the I1,I2,I3,J1,J2,J3 need to be memorized.
If I have miss read this, or if the exam time was already arranged through records and registration for another time slot please email a reminder out to the class. Other than that anyone that reads this, "Good luck on exmas, they're almost done, and christmas is only a week away, HURRAH!!!!!"

If you're interested in a review sheet for chapter 2, see me during office hours.

Question regarding the exam

Thanks
According to the exam calendar on the records and registration site our exam is from 8am to 11am tueday the 18th.

I have discovered a fairly major issue with regards to the solution for Hour Examination #2:
On problem 2, Part d, i cannot achieve an answer that matches the solution given, even plugging in the numbers on that line.
I agree with the work and the theory behind it, but the answer I get is .25 cm, not the .177 cm given in the solutions.
Has anyone run across this? Can someone possibly verify that the solution given is incorrect?
Thanks!
